Candy Writer Studio is looking for a Mid-Level Graphic Designer with UI experience who can create visually strong graphic assets and contribute to user interface design for our digital products. This role focuses on high-quality visual execution, brand consistency, and applying UI best practices within established systems.

Responsibilities:

Graphic & Brand Design

• Design high-quality graphic assets aligned with the brand, including:

  • Marketing and promotional visuals

  • Landing pages, banners, and campaign assets

  • In-product graphics

  • Icons, badges, and visual elements

• Apply and maintain brand guidelines across all design outputs

• Support the development and refinement of visual brand components

• Ensure a consistent and polished visual language across product and marketing

UI Design 

• Design user interface screens and components using existing design systems

• Translate wireframes and product requirements into clean, usable UI layouts

• Apply UI best practices for spacing, hierarchy, typography, and color

• Create responsive designs and adapt layouts for multiple screen sizes

• Work with lead designer to support accurate UI implementation

Collaboration & Process

• Collaborate with lead designer and 2D artists

• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively

• Communicate design decisions clearly and professionally

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer

• Hands-on experience designing UI for digital products (web and/or mobile)

• Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma for both graphic and UI design

• Solid understanding of UI fundamentals and usability principles

Graphic Design Expertise

• Strong eye for visual design, composition, color theory, and typography

• Experience creating brand-aligned visual assets

• Ability to balance creativity with functional UI constraints

• High attention to detail and design quality

Collaboration & Growth

• Comfortable working within existing brand and design systems

• Open to feedback and eager to improve UI and product design skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Drawing/illustrator skills and experience with simple gif animations

Portfolio Requirements

• Portfolio showcasing graphic design as the primary strength

• Examples of:

  • Brand and marketing assets

  • UI screens or flows you contributed to

  • Mobile App and web design work
